Your privacy is the entire point of UnfollowersTracker. This policy explains in plain language what happens with your data — spoiler: nothing leaves your browser.
1. We do not collect your Instagram data
The unfollower checker tool runs 100% in your web browser using JavaScript. When you upload your followers_1.json and following.json files, they are read by your own browser and never transmitted to our servers. We have no access to your follower lists, your Instagram account, or your files.
2. We never ask for your Instagram password
We will never ask for your Instagram username, password, or login credentials — not on this site, not by email, not anywhere. Any message claiming to be us asking for credentials is a scam.
3. Analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage (e.g., how many people visit, which pages are popular). This data is anonymous and cannot identify you.
4. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information with third parties.
